Fire Extinguisher Training

This 2-3 hour training programme provides candidates with the general knowledge and practical experience to tackle a small fire.

Candidates who competently complete the practical assessment and demonstrate adequate knowledge during an interview with their instructor will be issued with a certificate of achievement.

The session includes:

• General knowledge of the different classes of fire
• Fire extinguisher theory and information 
• How to operate a fire extinguisher correctly
• Practical exercise where candidates are required to operate a water and carbon dioxide fire extinguisher*

* Adequate facilities must be available on site to allow for the fire extinguisher practical to be undertaken safely.

Courses are delivered at your premises (subject to suitability of facilities) or can be delivered in Witney, Oxfordshire subject to an additional charge.
